April 13, 2022: Johannes Bohnen gave for a second time a lecture at the Hamburg School of Ideas. In the subsequent discussion with about 40 students, the CPR concept was also critically questioned. In particular, the focus was on one of the facets of implementation, known as CEO activism. How can it be ensured that corporate leaders speak out in a way that does not lose the support of the workforce?
First answer: Public sociopolitical positioning must be practiced. This can sometimes lead to irritations and mistakes. But it will become routine over time. Otherwise, the following rule of thumb applies to CPR actions: Nonpartisan in particular, but partisan in principle when it comes to the liberal democracy as such.
